Secret Service Outsources Cybercrime Probes

The Secret Service is revamping their cybersecurity practices in an effort to keep up with international hackers and cybercriminals against financial crimes. With the help of U.S. Cyber Command and experts from the private sector, they plan to improve how they investigate incidents with scammers trying to hack networks for financial gain. In addition to updating their practices, the Secret Service is also partnering with Cyber Command to gain more information and experience with hackers around the world. Experts believe that this new partnership, the Cyber Investigations Advisory Board (CIAB), will result in increased security and help the secret service adapt to the ever changing techniques of hackers.
